Meta itself is just a huge disappointment at this rate. I can't even read the replies on a comment because the poor app hardly even functions. It's constant and I'm aware of other bugs that get left unfixed for periods of time as long as a year. I feel that there should be a much higher standard, much higher standard. Instagram isn't as buggy as Facebook but their both trash now, which is crazy considering you'd think new times would bring better technology but no one seems to be really trying.

Instagram has so many issues, beyond shoehorning reels into a great photo platform, which is my main beef. And forcing AI on us. Recently, every time my husband shares a post with me in a DM, it's like Russian roulette if it's going to bring me to that post or not. often I get taken to some random reel or some other post, not even by the same person. Very annoying. Groups of ads in stories show all the ads as if they are from the company of the first. Every update seems to come with problems...

The core of the app works fine. Uploading pictures and what not is as out what you'd expect. Messages, notes etc. are all good too. The biggest issue is when the app decides you can't like a real or view any of the comments. I have no idea why this happens, I've tried restarting the app, restarting my phone, updating the app and none of it works.
